Preview & Predicted Team : Manchester United v Bournemouth

Manchester United look to extend their unbeaten run with the visit of Bournemouth tomorrow.

There are no new injury concerns for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after the comfortable 3-0 win at Brighton.

“Of course there are a couple of knocks,” Solskjaer told ManUtd.com. “You do start feeling things now after a little bit, so there might be a couple of changes but let’s see today. The boys who didn’t play on Tuesday want to play and are ready to step in if they have to. Phil [Jones] and Axel [Tuanzebe] will still be out for a little while. It’ll be a few weeks before Phil can start training and Axel, we won’t probably see until September. Ethan [Laird] is going to join the training group now.”

United’s next game will be against Aston Villa on Thursday, so there appears to be little need to rotate, especially as heavily as Solskjaer did for last weekend’s game against Norwich when he made eight changes. Rotation might do more harm than good – but the manager will be keen to ensure that his players remain fresh, so as strong as the temptation will be to keep the same team, he will also feel that he has a responsibility to use the squad to ensure other players get game time.

That should mean reprieves for Scott McTominay and Odion Ighalo – two players who showed promising form pre-lockdown and will be keen to showcase their own worth to the first team fold. Likewise, Brandon Williams will be hopeful he is given a start, although Luke Shaw responded well to criticism for his performance at Carrow Road with a fine display on Tuesday. We think the big call might be to take Marcus Rashford out of the first team to allow him a breather.

Predicted team :
