And just before kick-off, they were given the news everyone had been waiting for – the announcement of Raphael Varane’s signing. Then the game kicked off, and what an occasion – United had a thumping second half and won 5-1. Star performers were Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba.

The Leeds game, and the forthcoming trip to Southampton, are both previewed in today’s show.
